"The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

I'm standing on the edge. The wind is moving over the surface of the waters.
It's cold and breezy today, a grey sky by Ibiza standards, but still speed boats drag parasails across the bay, hoping to catch a wind to make them soar.
Nicki and I arrived last night after a week's honeymoon in Kos and a day's stop-over in London sampling the fabulous hospitality of Claire Bent. We spent a few hours getting acquainted with our new home and our new housemates, Charlie, Abby and Dexter Clayton. After orientation we headed to the 24-7 Centre in the middle of San Antonio for Nicki to go to work, while I head of to explore. It's the first time we've been apart for more than ten minutes since we were married.
I almost wish we were heading out to the streets tonight, just to get stuck in and feel like we've arrived. The rest will be good though. Time to watch a DVD and prepare ourselves for what's to come.
Standing on the edge of this, I'm exctied- anticipating what we will see God do, what lives we will see changed. I'm full of gratitude to those who are supporting us by praying for us and paying for us. Without them we wouldn't be here, standing on the edge, waiting to see where the wind will blow us.
